Updated 9/14/16

From Warren County Supervisors' Meeting 7/25/16

Repairs to the Riverside station roof are to be done in September.

The caboose in Thurman is finally open and selling pre-packaged items from Dawn's Delights in Thurman.

From 4/25/16 meeting:

The S&NC has a new dining car in North Creek that they will use for expanded services this year.
The caboose at Thurman is undergoing renovations and should be finished by May 31st.
A group called Renegade Railriders plans to operate pedal powered rail cars on part of the Sanford Lake branch starting in June. A rail bus will take riders to Moose Pond Club Road then the rail cars will travel ten miles south heading downhill along the Boreas River and over the Hudson River. The cost is supposed to be $35 each and a contract will be made with S&NC to do this. [There has been some conflicting reports about whether or not this will happen and as of 6/15 there is still no info on the S&NC website about this. For now we wait and see. It sounds like fun and I would like to try it since I have walked most of that section and it is beautiful. Let's just hope that the cars will travel faster than the black flies!]

From Warren County Supervisors Meeting 12/1/15

The Saratoga & North Creek Railway was going to move 1,000 tons of stone from Tahawus this week.
There are no Snow Trains scheduled for January or February as of this date.
There are no plans at this time for car storage on the tracks above North Creek and Warren County says that they would have no waly to stop this if they did do it due to the cars just passing through the County.

The Saratoga & North Creek added two F-40 locomotives to the roster on August 7th. Below are photos I recently took at North Creek.

When I visited North Creek on October 4th, there were two changes to the yard. One was the addition of a concrete pit on the station track (it may have been there for a while but I just didn't notice it) and the other was the removal of the old storage sheds just north of the station. All that remains are pieces of the old grain store foundation that the sheds were built on.
